FAQ

Piggy Bank Slot Jackpots FAQ: Two Sets of Values

In short: The Piggy Bank Hold&Win jackpot ladder is a set of five fixed bet multipliers: Mini 10x, Minor 20x, Major 50x, Grand 500x and Royal 2000x. BGaming's own game page advertises a higher set.

Open Piggy Bank Hold&Win and the panel down the left edge prints Royal 2000, Grand 500, Major 50, Minor 20 and Mini 10. BGaming's own game page advertises a different set, and you can check both in about a minute.

Game:
Piggy Bank Hold&Win (a BGaming video slot)
Type:
Slot game
RTP as published:
96.98% for an ordinary spin, and the maker prints that figure in three places that agree: the game page, the client's rules screen and the game server's own settings response.
Max win:
2,500 times the bet, two lines below a top jackpot the same screen puts at 2,000.

Which Jackpots a Piggy Bank Round Pays

A Piggy Bank Hold&Win round pays the lower of the two sets its maker prints: Mini 10x, Minor 20x, Major 50x, Grand 500x, Royal 2000x. The game server says so without being asked. Its settings reply carries a jackpot block of 100, 200, 500, 5000, 20000 against a base bet of 10, which works out at exactly those five multipliers.

Rules inside the client corroborate them word for word, writing every tier with a multiplication sign. The marketing page at bgaming.com contradicts both. Paytable artwork in the same client sides with that marketing page, so the art shipped with the game disagrees with the rules shipped beside it.

Grand is the only tier where all five surfaces land on 500x.

Everything else splits three surfaces against two.

We'd expected a rounding quarrel, honestly. What turned up was a factor of two and a half on the smallest coin, plus a 500x gap at the top.

Jackpots on the Panel Are Multipliers

The five jackpots on that panel are multipliers of your stake, not cash amounts. The cheapest way to prove it is to change the bet, so we photographed the panel at 0.10, then again at 20.00. Royal read 2000 both times.

Had the figures been currency, a 20.00 stake would have pushed Royal to 40,000. It held at 2000.

No unit appears beside the numbers on that panel, which is why the stake test is worth a minute. The rules text settles the same question in words: every tier there carries a multiplication sign.

A 2500x Cap Above the Top Prize

The 2500x figure in the rules caps a whole round, which is a different job from naming a prize. Royal sits two paragraphs higher at 2000x. Both statements hold.

Coins, Collect symbols, a pink multiplier of up to 8x: any of them can push a single round past the Royal figure. The cap is where that arithmetic stops.

The server confirms the pair, returning a maximum multiplier of 2500 beside a Royal of 2000.

Grand plus Royal are grid-completion prizes, won by filling cells rather than by landing a symbol. Nine filled cells on the smaller grid pay Grand at 500x. Fifteen filled cells pay Royal at 2000x, though those fifteen exist only once the blue piggy, EXTEND, switches on as a bonus begins. Until that piggy appears, the top tier stays out of reach, which makes it a two-step lottery.

Mini, Minor, Major work the other way round. Each arrives as a coin, holds its place to the end of the round, then pays in the final count. A Mystery Jackpot symbol can also resolve into one of those three at the close. Here is the whole ladder with the route to each tier beside it.

TierValueHow it arrives
Mini10xLands as a coin, pays in the final count
Minor20xSame coin route, one tier up
Major50xSame again, the highest of the three coins
Grand500xAll nine cells of the smaller grid filled
Royal2000xEvery cell of the stretched 3x5 field filled

Only Two Jackpots Landed in 187 Rounds

Only two of the five tiers turned up across our 187 logged rounds at a 1.00 stake, both of them rarely. The smallest coin arrived 19 times. Minor arrived four times. Major, Grand, Royal stayed away entirely.

That counts a session, not the game. 187 rounds tell you almost nothing about a 2000x tier, while the one frequency BGaming does compute sits in the launch configuration, off screen: odds of the 2500x cap come back as 1 in 44,731,998.

The Mystery Jackpot symbol, which settles as Mini, Minor or Major, appeared 16 times. Our tally by symbol ran like this.

SymbolTimes it landedValue if it pays
Mini coin1910x the bet
Minor coin420x the bet
Major coin050x the bet
Mystery Jackpot16Settles on whichever tier it picks

Where This Leaves a Piggy Bank Player

It leaves a Piggy Bank player sizing the session against what the client states, not against the page advertising the game.

We do not recommend planning around the x25, x50, x125 figures on bgaming.com. The build we loaded pays 10x, 20x, 50x for those same coins. A plan built on the higher set rests on numbers the round will never honour, so we can only speak for the build the maker's own demo serves.

Open the client, tap the menu, read the jackpot list in About the game, then set it against the panel down the left edge. Those two agree with each other. They agree with the server too. Should panel figures disagree with the artwork in whichever build you have loaded, treat the panel as the one a round will pay, since it is drawn from the same settings the round uses.

What Else Do Readers Ask?

Readers arrive here with one question in different wordings: which set of jackpot numbers a round will actually pay. Every answer below quotes the rules screen, the live panel or the game server's own reply.

How much is the Royal Jackpot worth?

Royal Jackpot pays 2000x the bet on the build the maker's demo serves, and it needs every cell of the stretched grid filled.

Why does the paytable say 2500x?

Paytable artwork ships with the game and carries the marketing figure. The rules screen, the live panel and the game server all put Royal at 2000x instead.

Does the Mini coin do anything in the base round?

No, nothing on the reels pays outside a Hold & Win round. A Mini coin landing in the base round simply sits there until a bonus starts.

What is the Mystery Jackpot?

Mystery Jackpot is a symbol that settles at the close of a bonus round as Mini, Minor or Major, worth 10x, 20x or 50x the bet.

Are the panel figures in dollars?

No, the panel prints multipliers. We photographed it at a 0.10 stake and again at 20.00, and Royal read 2000 on both screens.

Which piggy unlocks the 2000x tier?

Blue piggy EXTEND stretches the field from 3x3 to 3x5. Royal becomes reachable only once that piggy switches on at the start of a bonus round.

How often did a Mini coin appear for us?

Mini coins appeared 19 times across 187 logged rounds at a 1.00 stake. Minor appeared four times. That counts one session rather than the game itself.

Is there a progressive pool behind these names?

No, all five tiers are fixed multipliers of the stake. Nothing accumulates, and the rules state each value outright instead of pointing at a shared pool.

What are the odds of the maximum win?

Odds of the 2500x cap come back from the game server as 1 in 44,731,998. A licence setting keeps that line off the player's screen.

Can a Mystery symbol turn into a jackpot coin?

Yes. The Mystery symbol becomes any symbol except a Sticky Coin, while the separate Mystery Jackpot picks a named jackpot tier.

How were these figures checked?

Checking these figures took five readings: the rules screen, the jackpot panel photographed at two stakes, the server settings behind the ladder, the public game page and the paytable art inside the client.
